All you have to do is read! If we read 100 books by EARTH DAY April 22, 2010 Scholastic Canada will make a donation to help protect 100 sq. km of Canadian Boreal forest.
Canada’s Boreal Forests stretch from British Columbia all the way to Newfoundland and up into Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and the Yukon, reaching as far north as the Arctic Ocean. They are part of the world’s largest land-based carbon sink and make up a full quarter of the world’s remaining intact forests. With the help of Scholastic's environmental partners, and our reading, we will be supporting the protection of trees that provide valuable oxygen and a home for thousands of different animals.
Just email your teacher when you finish a book, maybe you just finished a novel study or maybe you read one for fun at home! Email your teacher the name of each book you have read and when you finished it to be added to list.
